In a video broadcast through his Twitter account, President Iván Duque confirmed that Colombia will host the World Economic Forum (FEM) 2021 in the Latin American version.
The president said that after “a great meeting in Davos with Professor Klaus Schwab” it was agreed that Colombia will host the event. “Confidence in our country continues as a destination for investment,” he said.
For his part, Schwab, who is the founder and president of the WEF, said that “Colombia has a vision of the future and an appropriate mentality, attitude and policies for the future.”
“We will highlight the achievements of Colombia in our Latin American summit in 2021,” said the academic.
