
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) on Tuesday declared a state of emergency due to the Colonial Pipeline cyberattack that shutdown the vital fuel supply on Saturday.
Several states across the Southeast and beyond are experiencing gas shortages due to the hack, including: Alabama, Arkansas, D.C., Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia
Florida’s emergency order will remain in effect until operations have fully resumed.
